Redstone Funding is an affiliate of twenty-four year old Redstone Investments, a full-service real estate company with offices in Tampa, Florida. Today Redstone owns 3.7 million square feet and manages and additional 1.5 million square feet through its management affiliate, Redstone Commercial. Affiliate Redstone Funding acquires commercial loans directly through its relationships with various financial institutions. While Redstone has the experience and expertise to deal with foreclosed real estate, its primary objective is to realistically project cash flow in order to restructure debt for a win/win outcome for both lender and borrower. As global economic uncertainty remains prevalent, government regulation continues to negatively affect credit markets and a "tidal wave" of commercial mortgage debt matures, Redstone believes opportunity for continued investment in debt instruments remains a solid platform from which to grow. Currently with existing mortgage assets throughout the southeast Redstone Funding looks for first-lien debt of all performance levels throughout the eastern seaboard.
