First Housing is a quasi-public corporation stock-held by banks which conduct business in the state of Florida. Some of these stockholders participate in a lending pool to provide financing for rental communities in Florida serving low to moderate income families. First Housing is an FHA-approved mortgagee, and provides professional services to housing finance agencies and other governmental lenders. These services include credit underwriting, Davis-Bacon & Section 3 compliance monitoring and servicing, construction and permanent loan servicing, financial monitoring, and compliance monitoring and training. In addition, First Housing offers web courses, live workshops, and personalized training in affordable property compliance, and Davis Bacon & Section 3 compliance.
