Waypoint Group is a strategic consulting firm specializing in business continuity planning, emergency management, and operational resilience for community banks and credit unions. Built on a foundation of military precision and enterprise experience, we help financial institutions prepare for — and recover from — the disruptions that threaten both their people and their operations. Our core offering for FBA members is a comprehensive Business Continuity Program that includes business impact analysis, recovery planning, and documented playbooks tailored to the specific operational profile of each institution. We work directly with bank leadership, operations staff, and branch personnel to build plans that are practical, regulatory-aligned, and ready to execute under pressure — not just filed away to satisfy an examiner. Central to our work is facilitated tabletop exercise programming. Waypoint designs and leads scenario-based exercises that stress-test an institution's response to real threats, including active shooter events, severe weather and hurricane response, and operational disruptions. These exercises are structured to meet FFIEC Business Continuity Management booklet expectations around testing and employee preparedness, and are designed to surface gaps before a live incident does. Florida's community banks face a unique risk environment — one shaped by hurricane season, a high-density public-facing branch network, and growing physical security concerns. Waypoint's exercises are built around those realities, giving leadership teams and frontline staff the reps they need to respond with confidence when it counts. Whether an institution needs to build a continuity program from the ground up, refresh an outdated plan, or run its first structured tabletop exercise, Waypoint delivers senior-level guidance without the overhead of a large consulting firm.
